More than £250 million worth of investment opportunities are advancing to follow-up discussions after the Deal Room and Investment Matchmaking Session at the recent UK-Ghana Trade and Investment Summit. The Deal Room is helping turn the UK–Ghana Growth Partnership’s ambition for private-sector-led growth into practical investor connections.

Organised by the UK–Ghana Chamber of Commerce, with technical and financial support from the UK-funded JET Programme and delivery support from Pangea Global Ventures, the Deal Room brought investment-ready Ghanaian businesses and projects together with UK and international investors. It identified investor interest and opened routes for further commercial and technical engagement.
“The UK–Ghana Growth Partnership is about turning shared ambition into practical results. Through JET, the Deal Room is helping credible opportunities move towards investors and partnerships that can support jobs and sustainable growth. The priority now is to maintain momentum and help promising discussions progress,” said the UK Development Director at the British High Commission in Accra.
The opportunities span agribusiness, pharmaceuticals and health technology, financial services, the circular economy and infrastructure sectors with potential to attract private capital, grow businesses and create jobs.
JET and its partners are taking these opportunities into the UK Investment Roadshow, where selected Ghanaian businesses and project sponsors can test their propositions, meet prospective investors and progress Deal Room discussions. Ghana Investor Day on 15 October will be a key milestone.

“The Roadshow builds on the Deal Room by bringing credible Ghanaian opportunities into direct conversation with investors and translating the Growth Partnership’s ambitions into commercial engagement,” said Adjoba Kyiama, Executive Director of the UK–Ghana Chamber of Commerce.
The Roadshow will also include the “AFSIC -Investing in Africa Summit”, creating further opportunities to present Ghanaian propositions, advance discussions and build UK–Ghana business partnerships.
The Deal Room, Roadshow and investor follow-up show the UK–Ghana Growth Partnership moving into delivery. Through JET, the UK is helping connect opportunities with capital and progress discussions towards partnerships, investment and jobs in Ghana and the UK.
